Frequently asked questions
How do I type on a PDF that can’t be edited?
Open it in the editor and click anywhere on the page with the Text tool. The text is added to the PDF as a new layer, so it works on scanned documents too.
How do I wrap long text into a column?
Drag the side handle of the text box to set its width – the text then starts to wrap.
How do I add a date?
Click the arrow next to the Text tool, choose “Today’s date” and click on the page.
How do I change text that’s already in the document?
Click a line of text with the Select or Edit text tool and type over it.
Who can see my document?
Only you and anyone you send the link to. The document is edited in your browser and only ever reaches our server encrypted. The copy deletes itself one hour after your last edit. Learn more in our privacy policy.
