Frequently asked questions
What if the PDF has no fillable fields?
No problem. Choose the Text tool, click where the information goes and type. The arrow next to the tool also gives you ✓, ✗, ● and today’s date.
Will the form stay fillable?
Yes, unless you check “Flatten form” when downloading. After flattening, the values become a fixed part of the page.
Can I type accented letters in the fields?
Yes, letters like ü, ñ, ç or ł work too. A font that can display them is embedded in the PDF.
Can I save a filled-in form and finish it later?
Your document in progress is saved continuously as an encrypted copy. You can return to it via its link or from the home page until the copy is deleted one hour after your last edit.
Who can see my document?
Only you and anyone you send the link to. The document is edited in your browser and only ever reaches our server encrypted. The copy deletes itself one hour after your last edit. Learn more in our privacy policy.
