Frequently asked questions

In what order are the files merged?

In the order you select or drag them. You can then rearrange the pages however you like in the thumbnail panel.

How do I add another PDF to a document that’s already open?

Hover between two pages, click “Insert page” and choose “Pages from another PDF…” from the menu.

Are form fields kept in the merged PDF?

Fields from the first document are kept. Pages from the other files keep their content, but their fields become fixed page content.

How large can the files be?

Each file can be up to 100 MB. On a phone, we recommend smaller files, since they’re processed in the phone’s memory.

Can I merge photos with PDFs too?

Yes. Along with PDFs, you can select JPG, PNG or HEIC images – each one becomes its own page, in the same order.

Who can see my document?

Only you and anyone you send the link to. The document is edited in your browser and only ever reaches our server encrypted. The copy deletes itself one hour after your last edit. Learn more in our privacy policy.
