Place the paper on a darker surface and capture the whole sheet. You can photograph several pages.

Check the corners
We find the edges of the document for you. If needed, drag the corners with your finger – a magnifier shows the exact spot.

Choose a look and save
Document (black & white), Grayscale, Color or the original photo. You can then sign the finished PDF or download it right away.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install an app?
No. Scanning works right in your phone’s browser (Safari, Chrome). The “Take a photo of a document” button opens the camera.
How do I photograph a document for the best scan?
Place the paper on a darker surface and shoot from directly above in good light, without flash. The whole sheet should be in the photo.
Which look should I choose?
Document gives a clean black-and-white scan with the smallest file – ideal for contracts and forms. Color keeps stamps and signatures in color, and Grayscale is in between.
How big will the file be?
A black-and-white page is usually 50–150 KB, a color page around 0.5 MB. You can compress the file further afterward.
Does it work on a computer too?
Yes – select photos of the document from your disk. You adjust the corners with the mouse.
Who can see my document?
Only you and anyone you send the link to. The document is edited in your browser and only ever reaches our server encrypted. The copy deletes itself one hour after your last edit. Learn more in our privacy policy.
