Frequently asked questions

Is the cropped content removed from the file?

No. Cropping only makes the page smaller – the cropped part stays in the file and could be restored. To remove sensitive information, use the Redact tool, which deletes it from the file permanently.

How do I crop all pages the same way?

In the Crop pages window, keep All pages selected. The margins are applied to every page, even if the pages differ in size.

How do I remove white margins automatically?

Click Fit to content – we find the text and images on the page and fit the frame tightly around them.

Will cropping change the edits I’ve added?

No. Text, signatures and images stay where they are; anything outside the frame just won’t be visible.

Who can see my document?

Only you and anyone you send the link to. The document is edited in your browser and only ever reaches our server encrypted. The copy deletes itself one hour after your last edit. Learn more in our privacy policy.
